Enter the large open area with the
raised column in the middle, use the Spirit Shrine in the right hand room,
then go to the archway opposite to the area with green slime beneath a walkway
(Shot 1), jump and roll past the fire, continuing into a small room with a
statue and a button near one of the doors. Press the button to open a door
in the first large area. Retrace your steps, using the Gold Armor Shrine on
your way back to this door and enter, continuing to the throne room (Shot
2). Climb to the upper ledge and follow the first set of tunnels to the ledge
overlooking the first area (Shot 3). Grab goods and jump down on the octagon
platform for the flask, which will cause a stone to move, allowing you to
climb the platform. Reenter the throne room and go to the archway on your
right up the small ledge. Follow the tunnel to a water area with a column
in the center (Shot 4), dive in and grab goods, then swim into the center
column, down to the Lungs of Ssithra Shrine, down further, then swim out and
surface in another wet area (Shot 5) with an exit to the left. Exit into a
room with a moving cog, press the button near the cog to open the underwater
grate. Grab the goods on your return to the wet area, dive in and swim to
the tunnel up, past the Ssithra Shrine, past the next opening, surfacing at
the top inside a room (Shot 6). Use the Spirit Shrine, grab the Lightening
Spell, then exit through the door that opens when you walk over the button
where the spell was. Enter the next level, The Hive, Part 2.
Grab the goods at the start of the
bridge. On the other side of the bridge, look down and see the ledge (Shot
1), but don't jump, just keep going into an area where a ramp leads up into
a large room (Shot 2). Go up to the statues and notice something missing.
See the blue buttons, they're are two of them in this area, one in an area
slightly in front of the statues, one in a drop-off near an archway (Shot
3). Go to the pillar where the arrows and goods are, stand on the slightly
raised platform beside it and shoot the button with a fireball to raise yourself
to the goods. Jump down, go to the drop-off and shoot the other button, then
enter the archway nearby. Use the Mana Shrine right, then go left to a fork
in the path, enter the right archway, jump into the fountain and go get some
health, then return through the fountain and use the tunnel in the room to
enter the next area, climb to the archway above to your left, follow the upper
walkway to the first tube, go get the goods on the ledge, then come back and
keep following the walkway. Come into a room where a rope dangles into a hole,
go right to the three buttons (Shot 4) and push them to reveal goods behind
you, including the K'chekrik Heart Gem (Shot 5). Grab the gem and climb down
the rope and gold through the gold door right into a room where a door is
flanked by statues, use the Gold Armor Shrine in the room to your right, then
enter the door between the statues. Avoid the traps, go through the bug mural
into a room where a button is on the floor in front of a door. Walk over the
button, walk into the small room with a hole in the floor (Shot 6), grab the
goods and jump down through the hole. Continue to the room with four doors,
go right into an area where three Hellorbs float over a steam grate (Shot
7), go forward into the archway right into a room with a center column (Shot
8). Use the Spirit Shrine, then walk up the steps of the center column to
break it open and grab the Spear of the Warrior. This will open rooms all
around you. Get the goods and in one of the rooms will be a blocked archway
with a floor button (Shot 9). Walk over the button to lower the stone lift
and ride the lift up to the ledge and jump down going through the normal archway
on the right, continue past the shrine to the room where the pair of statues
holds up the coffin. Walk up to the statues and use the gem to lower the statues,
then use the spear in the lowered casket to open the door ahead. Enter and
grab the Warrior's Amulet from the statue, jump into the hole that opens.
This leads back out to the ledge you didn't jump to below the starting bridge.
Climb up to the bridge and return to the first level of the Hive. Dive into
the pool (Shot 10) and swim down to the first opening and exit. Exit this
room into the throne room and go through the door with the button near it,
push the button to get through (Shot 11), then walk up to the statue and place
the amulet. You will be taken captive and dropped into the next level, The
Gauntlet.
Go over the collapsing bridge and grab
the goods on the ledges, then continue into the archway, following the halls
to jaw-traps and doors that will release an ambush (Shot 1). Jump the jaws
and continue through the halls to a room with a false floor (Shot 2). You
must jump from octagon to octagon, first to the Spirit Shrine on the left,
then to the entrance straight ahead from where you enetered, where you can
see the flask. The gree-stained octagons will be squished by the above pillars,
so only jump to them quickly and on to a clean octagon. You can fall through
at some places in the floor and get teleported safely back to the start of
the room, or be burned alive. Don't take the chance of falling. Get through
and continue left to a bug mural, walk around the mural and take the lift
up to a room with a suspended walkway above (Shot 3). Jump to the ledges to
get the mana, and from one of these ledge, jump to the walkway and walk over
the button (Shot 4), opening the door below and raising some steps. Jump into
this exit, go forward to a place where there is a center column and half a
walkway. Walk to the edge of the arch and shoot a fireball at the button to
the left (Shot 5), let the walkway come around to you, then shoot the button
again to stop the walkway. Walk out, shoot the button twice again to get to
the other side and continue to another lift behind a bug mural. Ride the lift
up to a place where you must take a trestle across lava (Shot 6). Avoid the
fire nozzles and ride the trestle across, continuing into small enclosed room
with a hole in the floor. Jump into the hole, down into the spike trap, go
right, then left past spikes to a small ramp leading down to more lava, and
a break in the ramp. Jump over, avoid the swinging barricades, jump the rising
stone pillars left to a retracting stone shelf (Shot 7), pole-vault to the
walkway near the giant hammers blocking your path. Continue through this test
to more swing barricades, go past them to a blue archway and enter. Use the
Spirit Shrine, then go left into a room with a stone opening in the floor
(Shot 8) leading to the next level, The Trial Pit.
Enter the yellow hall (Shot 1) with
the fires, pick up the goods and go out either archway into the trial pit.
Defeat both monsters using the Shrines. The Mana Shrine will regenerate. The
big dinosaur will knock down the main structure if he rams the pillars, and
will occasionally kill himself (Shot 2). Go through the giant stone archway
(Shot 3), grab the Iron Doom Spell, then continue into the next level, The
Lair of the Mothers.
Go forward and the ramp will drop out
for an ambush, grab the goods under the ledge then hop up and keep going through
the arched hallway to where a bridge crosses a green slime pit (Shot 1). Cross
the two bridges, grabbing the goods on the areas below before and after the
arch where the bridges connect (Shot 2). Continue through the arched hallway
to an ambush, go right, get ambushed a second time, then go through the door
into the first slug lair (Shot 3). The slug won't hurt you, but watch for
G'krokon parasites on her body. Climb the rope to the ledge above and go through
the unlocked archway. Continue to a room with rocky shelves and a rope. Shoot
fireballs into the red cracks in the center column to drain the slime. Jump
down and find an raised octagon platform, hop on and ride it down to a room
full of goodies (Shot 4). Remember this room later if you leave stuff behind.
Climb the rope to continue into the archway opposite where you entered. Continue
until you go up a ramp through open arches. See the blue wall behind you?
Go climb over it and grab the key and the wall will lower (Shot 5). Walk out
for another ambush, then grab the goods in the revealed room across from the
key, the take the walkway. Follow a maze of hallways, using the shrines and
grabbing goods from the ambush areas above you, until you come upon an iron
octagon plate to your left (Shot 6). Walk over the plate to slide it back,
then hop down into the hole, grab goods and jump down again, enter the first
lair again, climb the rope and use the key on the locked archway door. Enter
and follow the hallway left in a room with red beams running through it (Shot
7). Climb the beams to the arch above and continue to the shrines, then come
outdoors and walk around the wide column into the lair (Shot 8). Get the idol
and destroy the slugs if you wish, then ride one of the two lifts down behind
the lair, dropping you into the first lair. Use the archway door that was
always unlocked and follow the halls all the way, past the iron plate over
the hole, to a door that leads out to a ledge overlooking flasks on either
side (Shot 9). Climb down to get health, then back up and place the idol on
the pedestal in the archway. This will open a teleportation field to the Hive
Priestess's domain (Shot 10). She will not be willing to help until you bring
her to the brink of nonexistence. If you find yourself low on goods, make
sure you save it BEFORE stepping into the portal, and return to the room with
rocky shelves for the big secret stash you left behind. Afterwards, the Hive
Priestess will teleport you to the next level, The Ogle Mines.
