Grab the Teleport defensive spell,
climb down the rope, roll under the steam and continue down the tracks into
the first mine (Shot 1). Break barrels for mana, use the shrine, then climb
the ledge into the next mine and continue. Jump under the tracks if you wish,
but eventually you want to follow the tracks left to a ledge overlooking moving
machinery (Shot 2). Jump down and go through the mine entrance with the health
vials, coming eventually to a lift with a switch. Get on, throw the switch
and ride down to an area with a center platform and three exits (Shot 3):
a mine entrance over a broken out bridge to the left, double wooden doors
beyond a cracked bridge straight ahead, and a locked door below the track
to your immediate right. Go straight into the double wooden doors, follow
the mine to another lift and take it down to an area with a set of locked
double doors and a small opening under the low ledge to the left (Shot 4).
Roll into it and enter an area with columns or pipes and a small dead-end
mine with a flask. See the broken pipe and the partially broken support (Shot
5)? Shoot the support from a few feet away, then use a quick series of hops
up the pipe to continue into the mines to an area with an observation deck
above. Climb to the observation deck and throw the switch inside, raising
a track and opening the previously locked double doors by the small cove (Shot
6). Jump down and return to the door, use the Gold Armor Shrine, then go up
the track into the doors and grab the goods and the mine cart wheel. Return
to the area with the observation deck (Shot 7), climb up and take the door
to the left, then climb up on your right and hop over the broken out bridge
to the mine entrance (Shot 8). Walk up the ramp, get inside the cart and use
the wheel to ride into the next level, Mines Part 2.
Follow the tracks to the first refining
area (not the refinery, that's later). Jump down to the double doors and find
them locked. See the small cove left of the door (Shot 1)? Roll into it and
continue to the green slime river (Shot 2) spanned by a non-working trestle
(it needs power). Go into the room below the trestle platform and use the
shrine, throwing the switch to open the previously locked door. Outside near
the river is a wall high to the left of the entrance you can break out (Shot
3) and climb to for mana. Return to the now opened door, turn off the steam
with the turnstile, then continue into a second refining area (Shot 4), jump
down and go left to the lava pit (Shot 5), jump to the rope, climb for goods,
climb down and jump once more into the small cove for the unrefined ore (Shot
6). Jump back across and go around the left side of the pool to a fork in
the tracks. Go right to the Refinery, walk around and deposit the ore in the
bin and refine it (Shot 7). A suitable power source will be left on the other
side. Grab the power source and leave the way you came, turning right at the
fork (away from the lava) and going to the lift. Throw the switch and ride
the lift up into a refining area from before, through the door on the right,
through another door to the trestle platform. Place the power source on the
mechanism (Shot 8) and use the trestle by throwing the switch and riding it
across the slime river. Continue into a room where fire burns on the right,
use the Blade Shrine, then enter the iron door into the dark red room (Shot
9), get on the lift and push the button to enter the next level, Morcalavin's
Dungeon.
