Durhnwood Staff (1) |
With Blade Shrine upgrades, the Staff can become a mighty weapon, but it always involves close combat, risking damage from your opponent. I like to have armor if I'm using the Staff at higher levels. The Staff is very effective against your crazed brethren, the mad Sidhe. |
Fireball Spell (2) |
Your lowest spell, the Fireball is good for rats and the occasional fleeing Sidhe, as well as Myxini, the deadly fish. Tome this spell early to make it effective. |
Hellstaff (3) |
The Hellstaff fires rapidly, but chews orbs up pretty quick. Hellorbs are plentiful, so make sure you use this weapon when you're full on ammo (200). The Hellstaff is a great distance weapon, a little easier to aim than the bows. Use it tomed or regular effectively against Gorgons, Ssithra, Gas-tossers, T'chekrik. |
Thunderblast and Tome Spell (4) |
My most used spell, and I always arm myself with it before swimming, a good habit. Tomed, it's a torso ripper and deadly accurate. Effective against most enemies including G'krokon, Harpies, Gas-tossers (tomed), Ssithra, Seraphs (tomed). |
Stormbow (5) |
The Storm Bow is great for cleaing out large areas, especially outdoors. If you have an enemy that's dumb enough to stand in one place, use this bow to kill him with two shots easy (unless he's a boss). The Storm Bow is great for Harpies, T'chekrik, Caurthorians, and many of the bosses that don't move around so much. |

Firewall Spell is a beaut. I love this spell. Tomed, it becomes a massive destructive force. Very effective against G'krokon, T'chekrik, Caurthorians and Seraphs (tomed). |
![]() Phoenix Bow (7) |
The Phoenix Bow is your most powerful long-distance weapon. Use it on Harpies if your good, Gas-tossers, T'chekrik, Caurthorians, Seraphs, and all bosses. |
![]() Sphere of Annihilation Spell (8) |
This spell eats up offensive mana, but is great for heavier crowds, especially when paired with a good defensive spell like Meteors or Lightening. Save for hard to handle crowds or slow moving harder-to-kill monsters. Combine with the Chaos Spell to keep em dancing. |
![]() Iron Doom Spell (9) |
One big bad spell that eats up a Big Boy's serving of offensive mana. Takes out big monsters quick. Save for special occasions. |

Great while swimming or when being attacked in hordes. Use frequently. |
![]() Meteor Swarm Spell |
My favorite defensive spell. I use it all the time, especially in crowds or on those hard to spot Harpies. In the water, clears out the fishies, and acts as a great device for detecting enemies when they ambush you. |
![]() Lightening Shield Spell |
Good spell, but it's only drawback is the short reach of the field. Enemies must be right next to you to get shocked, and higher baddies can withstand enough to get in a few whacks on you. I use this for minor protection in crowds, but still prefer the meteors. |
