The
Official
Heretic II WebRing is the
first webring devoted to Raven Software's
Heretic II.
The Heretic
II WebRing allows you to
visit Heretic
II related web pages in
the ring by using a control panel on the
top of each member's page. The
Heretic II WebRing not
only creates a community and brings sites
together, it allows more people to find
out about members pages, thus making them
more popular.
To
become part of Official
Heretic II WebRing, you
need to first fill out the following form.
Your site will then be added to the Queue
for review. Once everything checks out,
then you will be added to the ring. Please
remember your Site ID, it is very important.
The
next thing you need to do is add the webring
control panel to the TOP of your news
or most visited page. The control panel
lets people go forwards and backwards
in the ring. The ring relies on all members
to do this! If people can't see the ring,
they can't use it. If everyone puts the
panel at the top of their page, you will
get more hits.
Next, check your email. You should recieve
an email shortly that will contain a link
specifying where you can retrieve your
HTML fragment to add to your site. Once
you have done this, please send an email
to drax@raven-games.com
notifying him that you have added this
fragment. DraX will look over your site
and upon confirming the correctness of
your code, will add you to the webring.
